Current bid is $14.5K and that's for a stock bike.

Neal's much improved RD400 should than be worth close to $20K

and remember this thing is the lowly AMERICAN model, not the mighty race winning CANADIAN RD400.

The RD400 is a nice bike, probably the best of the middle weight air cooled 2 strokes (it is also the latest one so this shouldn't be a surprise)
According to one of my old magazines it came ahead of the KH400 and the GT380 but not by that much.
The bike isn't that rare and there is nothing that special about it. $21K - go figure.
