Ducati Track/Race Bike

Postby Ken McAdam » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:30 am

2004 Ducati SS1000DS

This bike was originally built by GP Bikes and raced just a few times. We bought it and raced it once at Road America in the now defunct MotoST series.
For the past two years its been used strictly as a trackday and instructor bike. Runs strong.

Marchesini wheels
Custom Sharrard forks that use Ducati slides, Peris GSXR internals and ZX10 Kit springs
Ohlins rear
Ohlins steering damper
ASV levers
Custom Hindle full pipe
Open clutch cover and custom springs and pressure plate
Steel brake lines
Brembo master and callipers
PC3
Open air box w/K&N
EMS Dry Break tank

Comes with stand and some spares
$5800
lighttwins@yahoo.com

has about the same performance as a modern 600 with lots more character. Will paint whatever colour you want.

Already is one Ken... I am merely one wee gog in the Trend setting world. ;-) I had YAMAHA responsibilities with no budget and my friend here had a typical DUC budget for his work.

Rumor has it a DUCk may be coming out of my trailer this year...

Enough bullshitting one of you old farts needs this bike. Christ its almost a vintage bike straight from the factory :D Put some 900 badges on it and run it in P4F1 didnt someone convince the club a few years ago that a 998 or something was the same as an 89  ?
If the VRRA would start working with me on scheduling so we dont conflict I might even buy another P4F1 bike and come ride again.........

The Viagra club is too important to consider working dates out with mere wann-a-be clubs.
Talking of Viagra, surely that firm is the natural sponsor of our club. Peter #560
