Rob and I are going down to Barber in Oct.
We would have room for one more rig if anyone were interested!
Thanks

Hey Brian,

Are you coming to NB? Malcolm and I would like to discuss Barber with you over a beer (or 2)..

We have a few questions before we make a decision.

Hi Jan,
We were thinking about coming up, but we need to do some work on the rig so we will pass on NB this season.
Give me a call @ 416-717-2903 to discuss Barber. It would be great if we could get some teams to go down!
Thanks
Brian

Just a quick update on Barber.
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!
Unbelievable track, unbelievable facility, there was an air show during the lunch brake! The museum is mind-boggling!
We had 10 vintage rigs on the grid. Rob and I started on the last row and finished in third place on Saturday's race.
We then started on the last row AGAIN on the Sunday race and only made it into fifth place! (Poor start!!!)
All in all, it was a great weekend and we came home with some bling bling which made the long drive home much more fun!
This is a track that everyone needs to run on at least once! We will go down again next year (double header, Barber, Daytona!)

Hi Brian do they intend to run sidecars at Daytona next year? (never yet), quite a while since I ran there, but it could be a long time hung out for the monkey on the banking? Paul.

Paul,
There will be sidecars at Barber for sure, I'm not sure if they will let them run at Daytona. Rabbi(?) did get his rig out on the track at Daytona and is working on getting them out again for next year.
Thanks
Brian

Speaking of Rabbi, How is Christina?
I heard she went for a slid.

Rabbi managed to get out at Daytona 2 years ago in the Great Men & Machines with Larry Coleman as the Pilot.
The rule is sidecars are not allowed on the banking. Well, Larry eased up on the banking during the 3 laps they were out.

Barber, it is amazing isn't it!! Not hard to understand my disappointment when our trip encountered the first snow in 10 years and the track had to close down. It did make for an interesting story though!
