Canada’s preeminent motorcycle road racer and 14-time Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke will return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday, August 8 aboard the fire-breathing Kawasaki H2R.
The track-only hyperbike features a supercharged, 998cc inline-four engine that makes it the most powerful production motorcycle on the planet. It makes more than 300 hp and has achieved speeds of over 400 km/h. It was produced as a special project that involved expertise from the full range of Kawasaki Heavy Industry companies, most notably its turbine division.
There are only a handful of H2R motorcycles in Canada, making this a rare opportunity to see one in the flesh. The noise and fury of the Kawasaki H2R in full flight has to be seen to be believed.
VRRA fans will be treated to the full H2R experience as Jordan Szoke pilots the bike at speed down the famous Andretti straightaway over two thrilling laps.
The S4-R Kawasaki Racing Oil-backed rider says he is excited to unleash the H2R at Canada’s most famous circuit. “I can’t wait to give fans a taste of the H2R,” Szoke said. “This bike is so powerful, so fun to ride, and just plain cool”.
Kawasaki will have several motorcycles on display throughout the weekend and will also be represented by long-time series supporter Phil Hodgson of HB Cycle in Lindsay.
The VRRA is pleased to be part of this experience and invites everyone to enjoy this unique combination of a champion rider on a spectacular bike at a thrilling track.
