Funny thing about the front fender. For some reason it didn't go with the chassis when it was sold. I have been dragging it around with all my worldly possesions for the last 30 years and no intensions to get back into biking. Also have a good friend I used to race F2 with that had a box full of TZ stuff he had been dragging around that he has donated to the project. I hope he takes my offer to use my Gixxer for the school this spring.

Waiting for parts so I get to cleaning up components. Someone did a great job making these silencers which are obviously not stock.

Project is moving slowly but forward. Finished off the rear brake and added a lot of small bits which have been a pain to source. Things like axle spacers, chain pulls, caliper seal kits, damper bracket and others have all come from overseas. These were recommended on TZ350.com, anyone have experience with them before I go ahead with the rebuild. Not sure I like the hollow crank pins.

Could use some help with front axle spacers, if someone has some time when changing tires to measure these they would be easy to machine. Left and right are the same size.
Also I have an Aeroquip brake line that I would like to use which has a British pipe thread (1/8 conical) which would need an adapter to thread into the Yam caliper (10X1.0mm)

Try Freco Fluid Power for the adapter. Near Hunt Club and Prince of Wales.

The random stuff they have there is awesome.

There is nothing wrong with the ProX rods, don't use the bearings.
There is a Yamaha rod, 34X-11651-00, from an Exciter snowmobile, same dimensions.
Big end use Suzuki RM125 silvered:
Suzuki:09263-22060
Wiseco: B1047
ProX: 22-22816F

I prefer the hollow pin, IF the fit is still tight, like it still takes 5 tons to press out, and goes BANG when it releases in the press.
The solid serrated pin came with the RDs that had a great big alternator rotor hanging off one end of the crank.

I'll trade you solid pins for hollow ones.

Can you explain your preference for the hollow pins?
