Please help our Hannah

Postby rdhunt1 » Wed Oct 16, 2013 4:28 pm

Hey all, some of you know evie and I as Mosport two wheel racers whith a rig under constuction. And many of you know the previous orange and red rig of paul and marie that was sold to our pals tommy and hannah.

Unfortunatley while racing at barber this weekend they got into an accident while hannah was dragging shoulder in a left. She was injured pretty badly but is recovering. The end result was six broken ribs, two fractures to the pelvis and surgury with two screws in her lower back. She was moved to a normal room yesterday is is moving around and hopes to return home in the next few days

They had plans to bring the whittaker rig back to mosport in 2014 for a return tour, but like all bad crashes they are second guessing their pasttime. I did the exact same thing when I highsided my RD this spring.

Our pal joey has set up a donation site if you can spare a few bucks. I will get him to update the pic to show the current rig that they love. If nothing else please send well wishes and encouragement that we want Team Slowpoke Racing back on the track!

Thanks everybody,
Ryan and Evie Hunt.

We wish Hannah a speedy and full recovery, I doubt we would have raced without the Canadian healthcare program here. cheque on the way, Paul and Marie.

Just an update for those who have not heard.
Hannah & Tommy plan on making their comeback at Road America in June this year.
I do believe that Mosport is still in their plans too.

We have a video from late november early december
As tommy was putting away all the bikes for the winter he had started the sidecar. Hearing the sidecar running, hanna hobbled outside on crutches, gingerly lays down on the chair and slowly tries to get stretched out in left chair, left turn, position. All the while, BIG shit eat'n grin on her face. Oh ya, they were coming back.
