Hello Claude

You can contact our VRRA tech chair at vrratechchair@gmail.com

If you have some documentation showing that there was a 1982 550 Night Hawk and that it continued production unchanged beyond the P3L cut off of 1982 you should present to the tech chair for acceptance.

This is how you will get your best answer.

Kind Regards,

According to the Clymer manual, they were produced from 1983. Motor is very different from a 1983 CBX550 although same year, displacement and 16 valve heads. I only bought the Clymer Nighthawk manual to see if there were any similarities. Tell me if you need the manual.
