See;
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... AL/pubhtmlI have yet to update the season totals. I'll revise this thread when I do so.
At that time, I'll also post to a non-google page.

Ravo. Can I ask why we got docked 2 laps? I don't think we did anything wrong.
I hope it wasnt for the gas can as it was 10 liters. Its just a funny shape compared to the red ones from Canadian Tire

You didn't get docked 2 laps.
The '-2' you see is the mileage adjustment because you finished on the same lap as 909, as they were ahead of you. Therefore 2 kms (3.957km track length divided by 2) were deducted from your mileage.
(After the adjustment for handicap, you scored ahead of 909)

On the verge never went counter race….
That was another team. They only entered and exited the pit once for their stop.
I se it was changed- but…..
They also never had two cans over the wall….
Ever.

We never had 2 cans over the wall. Just our one red homemade contraption with the extra venting hoses. Were they counting our can and a neighbour's can?
We only had 9L preloaded in our can which we put in at the one hour mark.

We went through 12 litres every 40 minutes… But it is a 2 stroke

Kirby, you had a discussion with our Pit Marshall about the second can over the wall. What team was that?

Not trying to be funny or difficult….but shouldn’t the marshal know what team he was applying the penalty to?
Clearly he did not.
Notepads recommended…….
And is an empty can- still a fuel can?
Is there a safety concern with an empty container?

The rule does not distinguish between full and empty.
2 cans is 2 cans and the marshall had written notes.
You had the discussion and clearly know whose cans were there. The marshal reported the correct pit box but if the can was from an adjacent pit or you were assisting multiple pits, please advise.
Thanks
Dave

I was assisting multiple pits. All had pit boards clearly visible.

Kirby, it is a simple question. The 2 cans were in 818 pit and you had a heated discussion with the marshall.
Come clean please and advise whose can it was.
Thanks
Dave

The cans were not in pit 818.
The bike and bike number were clearly visible on the bike and pit box. Neither were 818.
The debate occurred when the bike left the pit. Maybe that was the real issue? Was he more concerned with lecturing me (and I was just extra hands holding a fire extinguisher) rather than ensuring he recorded the incident correctly?
And I helped 3 teams.
My point is that he should know which team to penalize. That’s what he is there for. So if he didn’t record it correctly, then no penalty can be levied.
It should not be up to me to tell you 3 days later.
I am not an official.
If there is question about the accuracy of an official making a call being accurate, then the penalty should not be levied.
Better to let a guilty party free than penalize an innocent one.

Kirby, the team that owned the gas can has come forward. The marshall had the correct documentation. Your criticism and vagueness is not appreciated. That marshall did not penalize another team you were assisting when the second can was briefly on the wall but was rectified immediately. He also did not remove a pit member who did not have a hot pit band.

Penalty has now been correctly applied, and results revised.
Season Totals are now up-to-date as well.
If anyone notices any errors or issues, please let me know.
