On ST it indicates that RACE and CSBK are eligible for all four rounds.

We are allowing the lightweights to do endurance at all 4 rounds if they want.

No sprint classes for them at round 1, 3 and 4.

It looked like Kirby's reply referred only to the CSBK class. I was trying to show that the RACE classes were on ST so they are also included.

This is the endurance forum, never mentioned sprints.

Hi Kirby,
I'm thinking about doing all 4 rounds this season with my R3. I'm wondering why will there be seperate RACE and CSBK lightweight classes? Or am I reading it wrong?

I haven't bought my license yet so I can't actually see what is on Series tracker.

There are subtle differences between the classes (as far as I am aware).
So if you have a Lightweight that’s not legal for one series, you could run the other.

If you call it RACE lightweight Sportsman than all the CSBK bikes and Lightweight production bikes could run and be in one class. I'm just thinking there won't be enough bikes to make having multiple modern lightweight endurance classes worthwhile. Is it better to have one class with 10 entries or 3 classes with 3 or 4 entries each? That's just my outsiders opinion though.

well- We currently have :
Lightweight Sportsman
CSBK Lightweight
RACE lightweight.

RACE classes are combined for scoring
CSBK is kept separate for scoring.

In the end- We can score it any way we like. But i would want a lot more input before doing that.

Last year there was some grumbling overheard that "that bike isnt legal because ...blah blah...."

CSBK legal is not the same as RACE legal - especially sportsman.
I have asked for a summary of teh differences in the rules. Feel free to educate me on this as well.

This series is more of a "fun" addition to our endurance series. And complaints and protests generally aren't fun for anyone.
So - by all means - help us make this fun!

Race Lightweight and CSBK Lightweight have 99% the same rules for 2019 (Chris hasn't released the 2019 rule book yet, so I can't say 100%) HP and weight Limits for all and restrictor plates for the Ninja 400.

Race Sportsman allows all the CSBK bikes plus a few others with no restrictors or HP limits.

I'm looking forward to having fun. I wish I had done all my registrations back in December though.
