Lightweight endurance classes - Season

Postby kirbster » Thu Apr 11, 2019 7:03 pm

I have been informed that CSBK lightweight and RACE lightweight class rules are essentially the same for 2019.
This means that we could combine CSBK and RACE classes under one class. This does leave Lightweight Sportsman as having separate rules. But does anyone see an issue with this? It is basically a fun series and racing is racing. Should we just run everything as one class?

Let me know your thoughts- I am all for simplifying this if I can- its less work to score!

Will post on RACE Facebook wall for comments.

Can you please clarify....does this mean no handicaps and that all lightweight bikes run together ?

All modern lightweights would run together...
We would maintain the current vintage classes and handicaps.

you have my vote for modern lightweight together in one class, especially if it keeps things simple.
