The #441 is a 1978 TZ250E, the bike I raced and sold in 1983. I came across it a couple years ago and purchased it along with a 1977 350D. There was not much of the 250 there, frame body parts, shock and wheels. The 350 is mostly there although I was lucky enough to find a missing swing arm at a reasonable price. I am using the rear wheel from the 250 as it is a 2.75 (wow). I wouldn't mind finding a little more history on the 350 as there weren't many in North America as there were no classes they could run in. I suppose they were effective in F1 with some talented hands on tighter tracks. The transmission and clutch are in great shape which makes me think this bike has relatively low miles on it. Serial #'s are matching which is kind of cool.
I know the motor from the 250 ended up in a super kart which begs the question, is it sitting in a dark corner forgotten some where?

BTW picking up parts for the 250 along the way and may run it with an RD motor unless a cheap original comes along.

I always found Mr Yates projects interesting. He hasn't had a project on here for quite a while, and seeing your projects here is a good fix for me. Thank you for the new entertainment -
Is great to see someone putting together (saving?) some pieces of history - the numbers matching 350 sounds like a pretty rare find nice... Like and following.
