I dunno Rick,
That one looks more like it should be a restoration job rather than a hack it apart and build a road racer from it project, but you're the boss!
Or... are you looking at defraying the cost of the conversion by selling the (many) stock parts to restorers?
BTW, a TR2 fairing should fit around those pesky carbs that stick out the sides of the motor, but you already knew that, didn't you?
Now, if you could find some A1-R cylinders for it...

That's what everyone says Pat. If I had another bike I'd save this one..these little buggers are hard to find in any condition...... :mrgreen:

Rick has the best interests of the Samurai in mind, it really does need to enjoy a 2nd childhood as a P1 racer. Born to be wild or at least green. Certainly needs a proper exhaust and less tinwork.

If everybody shows up at the dance, should be at least 3 of these wee beasties running this year if I've counted correctly.
Also heard about a race-spec Honda 250 (CB72) lurking about, but might be more fiction than fact and the subject of another thread...
Gonna be a great year for P1.

Can I asked how you did the frame?..powder coat or paint?..professional or spray bomb ? etc etc.

I sent it to a machine shop and had it put in an oven and then bead blasted. Plasti-coat alternator paint and the 2 coats of clear.....
