VM3 is 2". I have contacted Ahrma about my bike and am waiting for an answer as to where it fits.. :D

Rick,
When you hear back from AHRMA I would be very interested in knowing if it meets with their rules. My preference would be to assemble a bike that fits with both VRRA and AHRMA.

For those who viewed the pic of my F7 and thought the bike was in too good of shape to turn into a racer...the picture makes it look better than it actually is...dents, scrapes and the signs of off road use are very evident.

All is good, I just did the same thing to an almost pristine TT500 which I had offers in the $2000 range.

SR500........$100
TT500........$500
18" front.....$20
Recoverd seat..$30
Time spent in garage building MidPrd Monster.......Priceless!!!!!! :twisted: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have a question, the BSA B25 is ok for this class for all years (up to year 1970)? Is this correct?

Aslo for rims, VRRA lists VM4 (2.50) and AHRMA lists VM3, how wide is VM3? And are you guys making your P1-200 AHRMA legal?


I beleive the BSA B25 goes to 1972. Why, do you have one your building? :D

Also I beleive a VM3 is 2.15 wide.

Not building yet, just maybe considering, i know where one may be, i have to talk the owner into making a donation... thats the only way this will fly with my financial advisor...

Ok i have found sponsor that is giving me a T25... I have no idea what shape its in, and i am scared to find out :lol: , the sponsor also has a bunch of BSA parts that i can pick and choose from to make this thing move under its own power someday...

I won't polute this thread with too much specific T25 questions, but please if anyone has any info to help me make this bike: (in order of importance) Cheap to get ready - Reliable - easy to work on - somewhat fast enough to carry my big ass around the track, all that while being legal for the class, i would apreciate you join me in the other thread i will start.

The t25 I beleive is the 71 oil in frame.The same frame as Peters B50.The frame handles well & the motor has better bearings & trans than the early models.Front wheel is to big & the front brake to small.A conical laced to an 18 would bolt right up.60/70 bonniville TLS is as good but not as easy to fit.A 30 mm carb & lose the muffler for a reverse cone (pipe is ok, runs inside the frame rail) These bikes were fairly light for their size.The 250 motor reved higher than 500 (about 8200 red line I think) A twin plug head is a period mod & with the pipe & biger carb they run quite well.If you raise the compression a roller starter will be in order.You will need to work on it,it's not a jap bike.I'm sure Peter would be able to tell you a lot more.
I have a b25 & a 441.I'm not sure which way to go.These bikes a very easy to work on & fairly reliable if kept maintained & not overreved.They are very torky & the 250 should hit 80mph with stock gearing.The 441 has more grunt but not much more top speed.I beleive the 250 can run in pre 65 350 & bumps to P1 200.

I have ton confirm the year, i believe its a 70, so that would be a TR25 as oposed to a T25? more details around chrismas...
