On going 2003 SV650 Street Racer

Postby rgvmike » Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:56 pm

I bought a smashed up 2003 SV650 2 years ago. It was a complete wreck when I got it and was going to just fix it and put it on the road to ride. I didn't plan on going as far with it as I have but I got carried away and now it's a long term project. I have no idea when I will get it finished due to other projects but I continue to work on it when I can.

I stripped the frame and got it ready for powder coating.

I have always grown up with motorcycles being in the house. I moved into a house and the bike slowly made it's way inside 1 finished part at a time.

It's so much nicer working on a bike in the house when it's cold outside.

The bike finally made it to the garage. not much has changed seance. I have a brand new rad that needs to go on. Eventually when I get an exhaust I'll be able to test start it for the first time. Then off to the dyno for mapping.
