I picked this bike up from Mr. Daigle a couple of years ago, and have decided to stop procrastinating about it. It was showing 8,000 km's on the odometer. Hadn't run since 1988. Cold compression test was 120. We assembled and cleaned the carbs and it started right up. Brian supplied one of his famous Gpz Dash boards and a race wiring harness. New steering head bearings and fork seals have been done.We mocked up an exhaust and have sent the wheels and bodywork out for paint..
I'll post pics of the progress and work involved to get a barn bike on the track.
I thought that while we were at it, why not fix the 1981 that was damaged in 09....so we dragged it out of storage and will document the resurrection..
