The plan is to have it ready to display in the VRRA both at Jon's ABC event on 31st July in Kincardine, then a couple of track days to sort things, and then Mosport.

Scott

Can't wait to see it at the ABC Gathering Scott. I'll be taking lots of pics and I'm sure I won't be the only one doing that!!!

And, since I'm going to Mosport to watch some racing, it'll be awesome to see it, and hear it, on the track too.

Hi Scott,

Time for an update, saw your bike at the show, looks great.

Did you keep the 900 mostly stock? Diapers are for toddlers and Triumphs why was the elec run through the bottom of the left cover?

Have you tried one of these modified oil pick ups?

Hi Jim

The 900 in there now is bone stock except for the left side.... Cycle-X Optical ignition. I have another engine that was built for drag racing with Andrews cams and other goodies that will find its way into the frame at some point 8)

I have even seen or heard of a modified oil pickup till your post...

Drag motor, more HP is always COOL!!

The oil pick up mod was from an early drag race engine builder John Sands. Apparently the 900/1100 engines can cause cavitation that foams the oil or pumps air at high RPM, another step in reducing breakage.

I haven't been on the Cycle-X site for awhile they have added alot. I have one of their headers to try, 4-2-1 I think that is the weight as well, it's pretty a heavy gauge.
