RCB1000 project

Postby Martin426 » Thu Jun 16, 2011 8:27 am

Thought I'd start a new thread re. progress on the RCB build, as updating the CB550 project thread took a back seat to actually working on the thing! Simon throughly enjoyed the race school (thank you Mr. Voyer et all) and his inaugeral weekend...so much so that we are now busy fixing the 550. Kids

So.... hear are some pics re work done in May. A lot has been accomplished since these were taken and although not on schedule for NB, Mosport is a definite! Today she's well off the jig in rolling form with tank fabrication near completion. More pics shortly.

Hello...

Here are some more build photos. Everything from a CMR perspective is on schedule to be completed and picked up the end of next week!

Thank you for your comments and thank you Matt for humping the motor up to NB... See you there!

Last two pics before strip down, paint, and assembly. Apologize for the quality... blackberry camera :?
Can't say enough about the quality of work Denis and Byron are doing over at CMR Racing Products. :D

Thanks guys. Yes, the Mosport endurance race will be it's debut. The plan is to have it ready to display in the VRRA both at Jon's ABC event on 31st July in Kincardine, then a couple of track days to sort things, and then Mosport.
