This bike has a custom black and yellow paint job, wheels and seat. Check out the YouTube link.
It's in decent condition with 90,000 kms on it, with service records available from 109 Cycle.
Oil is changed regularly, it has new Metzler tires, replaced stater/rotor, cleaned carbs with proper jetting for Hindle Plus exhaust which roars nicely!
The engine is strong and runs great! And it's stored in my garage.
The body and fairing has a few scratches, dents and cracks, but overall it still looks pretty good.
It has a lot of sentimental value to me, so I'd like to see it go to a good home. It has been in my family since 1992, and it was the first bike I ever rode on in 1987!
I'm selling it because I want to buy a sport touring bike like a VStrom, and my wife says I can't buy another one till I sell this one.
Ideally I'd like to get $2350 with safety and $2000 as-is. 109 Cycle told me that it needs a steering head bearing to pass safety... about a $350 fix. But I'm open to offers.
Let me know if you're interested, and I can provide you with more info on it.
Thanks, Chris.
