1989 "CMG" Kawasaki ZX7
Almost stock vintage bike for sale, to race or street. Has Racetech valved forks and a Penske shock, engine freshened at 37,000km and made 104whp. Has some small dents in the tank (from my knees) and needs a carb rebuild right now... buy it for $3000 and take advantage of my procrastination or wait until next spring and it will be $4000 with the details hammered out. If you're mechanically able this bike is ready to ride for less than $200 in parts.
Comes with all applicable gear for the street if you want to ride it there and the full Kawasaki service manual. This bike was raced three years in VRRA in sprints and an endurance event - it will pick off 600 amateurs on bikes 20 years newer. To the best of my knowledge it is legal even with the new VRRA rules as no modifications were made to the engine, carbs, brakes or wheels. Also has a full D&D stainless exhaust. Minimally lock-wired to meet regs.
As featured on "CMG Online." Still has the stickers on it.
Bike has been down, but has no rash or damage on any part (plastic or metal).
