Legally imported but never titled, used as a track bike. If you are looking for a pristine example to put in your garage mahal this is not it. It's a bit of a mutt.

The front end is off of a later MC22 (or NSR250 or RVF400 or...) this is a plus for the track;
-41 vs 37 mm stanchions
-TWO disk brakes vs one
-preload adjuster vs none
-it also has a Coerce fork brace
-There is some pitting on the upper part of the tubes but the swept area is good. Tubes are available on eBay from CHINA. YMMV

The front disks and pads are replacement NSR250 items also sourced from CHINA. They work well.

Rear shock is an aftermarket Progressive Suspension unit for a CBR600 F2. It works surprisingly well.

The fairing is an aftermarket fiberglass replacement for the upper half of an RVF400. The rest of the bodywork etc. is stock and serviceable. The tank has a wrinkle but is in OK condition and doesn't leak.

Other bits of note are Coerce rearsets and a ONE piece aluminum D+D header/exhaust with a scuff on the end. (I always wanted to lumiweld a happyface/deathshead on there).

I will also include most of a carb seal kit and a new head gasket. There were signs of coolant possibly entering the combustion chamber and vice/versa. No signs of a coolant/oil system interchange. An excellent opportunity to pull the head and look at the gear driven valve train and teeny valves. :P

Includes a digital manual and parts list. There are some online resources at CBR250.com.
There is also a thread with some pictures I started when I first bought the bike here https://www.cbr250.com/threads/mc19-track-bike-project.10333/page-2

I also made a video of my last track outing in 2015;

Asking $2000 for everything. What a great way to spend your CERB! :roll:

UPDATE; The bike is currently located in Fort Erie.

I forgot photobucket went pay-for-play so I got a new image host.

As received in Jan 2013. All parts shown are included except for the stick-on turn signals.
