Selling my Norton Atlas Racer!
Priced at CAD $11.500 and negotiable up to a reasonable point so don't hesitate to make me an offer!
The bike is a 1968 Norton Atlas that was transformed into a racer in
1973 then raced through Europe. It was purchased from Legend Motors in
Lille, France (https://legendmotorslille.com/2015/09/0 ... acer-1968/)
then brought back to Canada in 2015. This motorcycle is one of a kind.
It can go on the track but it is also great fun on the road (it is
registered for road use in Quebec). It has tons of super rare parts
and has a cool history over two continents. It has kept its 70âs race
patina.
Here is a brief list of some of the equipment on the bike
Manx aluminum front mud guard. BSA gold star rear aluminum mud guard added in Canada to pass inspection
Original 5 gallons alloy racing fuel tank
High compression engine (150 lbs/10:1)
Rare Road Race (RR) Norton gearbox
Custom Norton fork âTâ
Original Tomasselli Matador handlebars and levers
Rearset foot pegs/controls
Upgraded twin-leading-shoe front break
Original custom aluminum racing oil tank
Safety wire installed â track ready
Performance dry clutch
Hagon front and back suspension
High performance gel battery for the lights (hidden under the seat hump)
Manx style single seat
Fiberglass race primary chain guard (not on bike)
Small Manx-style fairing with clear LED light (not on bike)
Small LED rear light to use without mudguard (not on bike)
Rims: Borrani Record
Front tire: Avon RoadRider (used about 100 km)
Back tire: Avon RoadRider (used about 100 km)
OTHER: not included in price is a second fiber short track race tank
from by racer Sonny Angel
(https://www.motorcycleclassics.com/clas ... otorcycles).
Never used. With separate gas/oil compartments. I would sell it with
the bike for $400
