Anyone know how to delete old posts? I see tons of old posts for bikes and parts that had sold long ago, as well as other listings that are no longer relevant, such my own, obsolete post from 2017 - see below. Thanks!

MY OLD POSTING FROM 2017:
I'm looking for a well-prepped, novice-friendly, P3 Lightweight to get me started in VRRA next season.
FOUND ONE!
Thanks!
Rocky

Rocky,

Congrats on the new bike. In case we do not run into each other at Calabogie in September I just wanted to pass along some FREE advice.

It looks like you have bought a great bike, but it is always a good idea to take the winter and go through it front to back and check as much as you can. You will be surprised what you will find. I do this every year with my bikes (I have no friends and no social life, so I have the time).

I have found broken brackets, badly chaffed wiring, half seized bearings, loose spokes... and many other issues. It is much better to fix stuff at home, than doing it at the track.

If you can find someone in your area who is a member of the club they may be willing to help as well.

Good luck and welcome aboard. Cheers, Rob

Thanks Rob. Much appreciated. I have a steep learning curve ahead of me - both in the garage, and on the track next Spring. I'll follow-through on your sound advice! Looking forward to watching the races at Calabogie. Cheers!
