EVERYTHING IS FOR SALE

Postby brian-d #43 » Fri Feb 24, 2017 2:04 pm

I’m done! I’ve decided to retire from racing so my stuff is for sale.

1981 Kawasaki GPz550 with:
• new 1mm oversize pistons & rings
• ported head with fresh 3-angle valve job by J Precision
• new Barnett clutch plates
• race style 4 into 1 pipe with Kerker muffler
• TK27 carbs with pod filters and jetted for pods & 4 into 1 exhaust
• custom racing wiring harness
• conversion to 520 x-ring chain
• steering damper
• 18” front wheel conversion
• Heidenau racing tires
• braided stainless steel front brake lines
• Progressive Suspension fork springs
• Progressive Suspension rear shocks with heavy duty Progressive springs
• large size Airtech belly pan
• custom lowered seat
• custom dashboard with on/off switch, tachometer and neutral light
This is the 1981 TWIN SHOCK GPz550 that is legal to race in ARHMA as well as P3-Lightweight in VRRA. It won the endurance series lightweight division championship in 2015 as well as the Quebec provincial championship in 2016 and comes with a box full of spares as well.

1966 Suzuki T20 with:
• ported & polished barrels
• 1mm oversize pistons
• custom built expansion chambers
• T20 frame braced to TR250 specs
• swing arm lengthened 2”
• aluminum rims with aerated drums and backing plates
• front brake by Brian Henderson
• forks modified with Race Tech Gold Valve emulators & custom fork springs
• custom foot pegs and mounts
• Progressive Suspension rear shocks
• Custom fork brace
• Steering damper
This is the bike that won the Mary McCaw award in 2012 and comes with a spare frame, swingarm, forks(modified to accept Gold Valve emulators), motor c/w Yamaha RD250 crank conversion as well as BOXES of spares. About 80% of what’s needed to put together a 2nd race bike.

I also have an aluminum framed custom trailer made JUST for those 2 bikes and my transponder (the older type that you don’t have to pay every year for).

I want $2500.00 for the GPz550, $2000.00 for The T20, $1000.00 for the trailer and $250.00 for the transponder.

So here’s the deal.
If somebody shows up with a trailer hitch they can drive away with everything for $5000.00 even. This deal is only being shown on the VRRA forum for the next month. After that I will be putting everything up for sale on Kijiji so if 2 guys are interested in the bikes I suggest you get together and get a special deal.

Hi. I'm interested in the Gpz as well as the transponder. I ran a Ninja 600 in P4 . Unfortunately I'm in Florida until after Bike Week so I can't beat the other guy to your garage. If it is still for sale when I get back I'd like to see it. wplindsay@yahoo.com 416-523-8243. Wayne.

Well both bikes are gone. The trailer and transponder are still here, though.

Might be confusing you with someone else. I thought you had a Guzzi. I've got some Roundhead bits left over from my P3 bike
