I feel bad hijacking your sale, but I am curious about the fuel tank and if Tech Inspection ever gave you a hassle? Good looking bike, sounds well sorted, would sell quick here (Ontario).

Hassle because it's not period correct or because it's not secured in the picture? When it hits the track it's well secured, I just had the bike apart in the picture.
As far as non-period parts, they're pretty lenient out here due to the small fields in the vintage classes. That being said, I've never been required to remove the tank cover for tech so it hasn't bee seen.
Believe me though, mine is far from the most heavily modified bike in the classes it runs in...

Does this have a 17" rear conversion done?

Interested in a trade for a nice 93 YZF 750? I am in Ontario though...

I'm having a local FZR guru modify a first gen SV rear wheel for me right now...it appears Bridgestone no longer makes the 18" slick I had been running.

I would be interested in a trade for a YZF but as you mentioned there's the distance...

Send me some pictures and details about the bike anyway though...you never know.

Nevermind, the engine in the YZF just puked....cosmetically the rest of the bike is very very good.
