ex 500 aka 630 - SOLD

Postby JPL » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:18 am

1989 gsxr750 front end with race tech internals, 1989 gsxr750 wheels and brakes, 3.5 front and 4.5 rear. zx6 swingarm, 630cc motor (vrra legal) built by Z1 cycle. CR39mm round carbs, ohlins shock. a garage full of spares including motors, gsxr front end and extra ex forks, spare tank newly cleaned and coated , extra muzzy 4 into 1 exhaust, everything. all must go together for $2500.

Bike tuned and set up by Rick Yates in 2010/2011.

Very fast bike in the right hands.

Would consider trade for an appropriate two stoke race bike (RD, RZ etc.).

Lots put into this bike . Lots of great stuff on and with this bike. Not interested in parting it out at this point.

The attached photos were taken before the new shock, frame sliders, and belly pan (red) were added but it's pretty much the same, only a little more festive with the red pan. BT 090's are on the bike now.

"Very fast bike in the right hands." might be a huge understatement... :P

I have ridden this bike at Barber Motorsports Park last April and once it was set up for me at the Ohlins booth it performed exceptionally well for my meagre abilities. It was being ridden at a NESBA track day in the medium class ( no passing on corners) I felt it would have been capable at keeping up with riders with modern 600's as it tracked noticeably well and had gobs of useable on tap power. I have also worked on this bike and although it looks like the ugly duckling it is a capable Drake. Marc Ethier #356
Fast as Fast can be, you'll never catch me. OK! I'm not that fast, actually I'm not Fast at all, but still having FUN. Sponsored by North Bay Powdercoating.
