1989 FZR400 Racebike

Testing the waters here.
I’ve decided to sell my 1989 FZR400 race bike as running 4 different bikes next year is not very realistic and I really don’t want the bike to sit around unused. The bike was previously raced by Mike burke for many years in different trim. I have done many upgrades since I acquired it.
The bike is race ready, just add water and fuel (currently stored for winter).
Cosmetically in decent shape, not perfect but still a nice example. (it is a race bike afterall)

Lots of upgrades.
- 17” SV650 rear wheel conversion with 520 chain in stock aluminum swingarm.
- Yamaha r6 rear shock with custom billet dog-bones to keep geometry correct
- 93 FZR600 forks with Race-tech springs and gold valves (sprung for ~195lb rider)
- Engine was redone a few years ago in North-bay, do not recall the builders name but the bike runs very strong.
- New chain with vortex sprocket
- Custom Dash panel with only Tach, oil light and neutral light
- Larger FZR600 radiator
- Ducati Brembo 4 piston front brakes with Larger 298mm FZR600 front brake rotors
- Racesuppliesdirect rearsets from England. Cut down for more clearance.

Have some other projects I would like to fund so shoot me a PM and we can talk about price.
(Will post some pics soon)

If that's Mike's old "woodie", it's legendary!

It is in fact the old "woodie" , with many upgrades done to it.
When I bought it, it still had a checkered speed stripe down the center.
