Testing the waters, thinking about selling the FZR4/600 I build last winter.
Building a Ducati 900ss and maybe another 500 single so thinking the 4/600 may be drawing the short straw as with the 900, 500 and fzr400 I can race many classes.
- 1989 FZR400 frame
- 1993 FZR600 engine
- YZF600 front end with racetech springs
- Modified YZF600 swingarm with 17” rear wheel and modified cush drive
- Chain and sprockets have 2 races on them
- Heavily modified Honda RC-30 fairings with TZ tail (really stands out from other FZRs )
- Custom modified GSXR750 rearsets
- Stripped wiring harness with bare essentials and key eliminated.
- Currently has KOSO tachometer but I will be holding on it for my 900ss build and will replace with a stock tach or equivalent before sale
- Head gasket has two races on it (swapped out a broken head the second round)
- Transmission gears and forks replaced a good used replacements (cases were split and these were changed as engine was popping out of gear
- K&N dual pods
- Ignition timing advanced to smooth out torque curve
- Come with good set of Q3+ front and rear. Lots of meat left and great entry level tire.
- FZR600 4 piston front brakes with R6 remote reservoir master
Bike was raced successfully this season and runs decent. All that’s left is to put some new emulsion tubes and factory pro needles and rejet the carbs to get it running smoothly (bog in between 6000 and 8000 rpm right now, pulls strong after 8000)
Sprung for approximately a 190-200lb rider.
Will try to post some pictures later today, if not please PM or email and I will send some.
Not sure about price yet, but if you’re interested feel free to shoot me an offer with what it would be worth and we will chat.
