Does anyone know where i can get 9 1/2" (240mm) shocks from. I currently have Maxton on the front of my F2 sidecar. 9 1/2" is quite short for shocks and i'm having a hard time finding some new ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks.
Steve.

I would suggest you talk to mike partridge at Walridge motors in London. His company imports shocks and can have them set up to your needs. Former VRRA racer and sponsor. Good guy to consult.

Have to agree Walridge Motors is a good source for race parts and not just for the British bikes. The close to home place to source AP Lockheed calipers and master cylinders, steering dampeners the old school kind, Avon tyres, and more... I just ordered a new Scitsu revcounter from Mike. Its nice local company, and someone knowledgeable to deal with.

Just a suggestion allthough its probably not going to be the cheapest.

I'm helping a friend with their Kawasaki KSR 110 and the shock on that is 240mm. They just bought a YSS from EPM in the US with stiffer and springs and diffrent damping. YSS and Nitron both do shocks for this bike.

I know Klaus retired from EPM but Mike is still there. They have 240mm shock bodies so they can can spring it and valve it however you want.

Don't quote me on this but I believe Ben Gartner may also have YSS.
