Attention racing members. The only hope we have to run Calabogie is if we have enough participation. It’s one of the key elements in deciding to proceed or pull the plug. We understand there are a lot of uncertainties right now. But unfortunately time is one of our biggest constraints when it comes to the decision making process.
Please understand that your money is 100% safe and if we just can’t make it happen, you will be 100% refunded.
Quebec members- same for you. If we don’t have an open border it’s likely a deal breaker anyway, so again money fully refunded.
Even if you are 100% sure you Will not attend, just shoot me a message. No judgement. But at least a definitive answer we can use to help us make the call. We don’t want you to feel pressured one way or the other. Just help us make a responsible decision. Thanks !

Kirby

I hope everyone remembers we have multi tiered discounts now! So your 3rd,4th, 5th entries are only $95 each. We missed round 1- maybe take some of that cash and enter an extra race? Got questions about your bump classes- shoot me a PM...
and Friday practice is also the best deal going for some laps at Calabogie..... unless you count the endurance race- team up with someone and get all the laps you can handle!

Attention VRRA Racers...
Our drop dead date for Calabogie is June 1- that is only 9 days from today (May 22).
Current provincial guidelines for reopening indicate we can operate with some restrictions provided we meet the benchmarks for vaccinations.

We currently have 192 racing members.
Registered riders for the Saturday Sunday stands currently at 73.
So we are well under even 50% of racing members.
The only way this event can happen is if we have enough registrations by June 1.

How many is enough? We really need to be more than 110 racers- and ideally - more than 120 racers. All having to enter 2 races or so.
We are willing to take a small loss to operate and the numbers above already reflect that small loss that we feel is tolerable.
So we absolutely will not run if we don't feel confident we can hit those numbers.

The executive has been working very hard to try and ensure we can get some racing in this year.
We have now done all we can do... the rest is up to the membership - the racers that form the club itself.

If you want to race- sign up now.
