NEW - START TEAM
Posted: Thu Apr 04, 2019 12:15 pm
It’s almost time to go racing.
This year we are putting together a Start Team.
The idea is that no individual has to stand around all day.
We’ll divide the race day into a number of segments to work around your schedules.
The responsibility of the Starters is; to grid each race; to start each race (flag or lights); to indicate ½ way, last lap and finish; to be the master flagging station for the track.
Most of the information during a race is given to you by race control in the tower.
For many of you, who stand at the pit wall to watch races, this is a no brainer. You watch the races and get up to date information (instead of asking everyone around you, what happened).
Even if you’re on another volunteer team, we can give you some Start time.
Come on girls and boys, step up!
Please contact Rick ASAP.
