Effective Jan 1/2014.

To resolve the electric start vs push start dilemma.

All entrants to VRRA events must demonstrate their ability to push start their machine!

First test, cold engine start on level ground.

Second test, uphill with warm engine, eg. on the entrance road at Shannonville, or toward pit -out at CTMP

Those unable to complete the test, must fund the cost of pushers at each Marshall Station.

This includes all machines, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, rotary/wankle, wankers etc etc.

Those who are very old, incapacitated, on crutches or just plain lazy, may apply for special dispensation.

To become proficient at this technique, start practicing now during winter, Castrol "R" will help to build muscle and lung capacity. Cursing only wastes valuable energy.

Merry Xmas, safe travels and a Happy and successful 2014 to all.

Heck no, it's a gift that keeps on giving plus any mention of Castrol R is sublime and timeless!

Best wishes to each and every one all through the 2014 season!

Perhaps a trophy at the end of the year...

I would suggest that his not be limited to track side performances, but should also include world class performances in the pits, with extra points given at the beginning of the season when riders/pushers are in their worst shape and bikes are (lets face it) at their least maintained state.

More points awarded for:
- the back straight at Mosport
- farthest from a marshall
- largest capacity, highest compression engines
- number of wheels on the vehicle being pushed
- combined weight of rider/pusher
- age of pusher

Votes can be submitted by marshalls for trackside performances or ballots could be included in the registration packages for racers to submit based on performances spotted in the pits.

Winner receives the coveted "My Friends Can't Believe This is How I Spent My Weekend" award!
