AGM and Annual Banquet
Posted: Mon Sep 16, 2013 8:40 pm
The AGM will be held in North Bay on November 16 with the annual banquet that evening. The AGM agenda will be posted in the members only forum. If you have an item you wish to add to the agenda, please send it to me with brief explanation of the topic and what you want to discuss.
If you cannot attend the AGM and wish to assign your vote, the proxy form is available at this link http://www.vrra.ca/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Proxy-Form-13.pdf
Our annual awards will be presented at the banquet. Traditionally the executive has selected the candidates. With the growth in the club, multiple events and the difficulty knowing all that goes on, this has become difficult. Last year we asked the membership for names with an explanation of why they were proposed. We received some excellent suggestions and I would like to continue this. Please submit any suggestions with a brief explanation to me for the following awards.
Most Improved:
President’s Award: best season on a GP bike
Meritorious: on or off the track
Rookie of the year:
Sportsman:
Dorman Diesel: best machine preparation - tech committee
Mary McCaw: best P1 appearance and results - tech committee
Roger Beaumont: to be voted at AGM
