2012 AGM and Awards Banquet Information

Friday 9th. - Social Evening 7pm – Midnight(ish) – come and bench race with all your VRRA friends and enjoy some Eastern Ontario hospitality
Saturday 10th – AGM 11am until 5pm sharp.
- Cocktails 6:30pm
- Banquet and Awards 7pm until ????

Special Guest 2011 Canadian Hall of Fame Inductee – Toni Sharpless

Room Information – Double rooms, $110 including a hot buffet breakfast for two
- “Loft” rooms available for $139 also including breakfast
- Remember to ask for the VRRA rate prior to October 26th

Banquet – Prime Rib, mushroom chicken,roast potatoes, assorted salads etc.

Tickets $40 Early Bird price prior to September 30th – all early bird purchasers
will be entered into a draw to win back the purchase price of their ticket!
$45 until October 27th (cut off date to give hotel dinner numbers)

Is the AGM kid friendly or find a sitter? We are planning to come up Saturday morning.

The AGM meeting part isn't kid friendly - they will be bored as it truly is a business type meeting.
The banquet has had children present in the past, buffet dinner and then speaches and awards are handed out. Colin and I are getting a sitter for the weekend for Fiona.

OK, that's kinda what I figured. Being from a different country adds a layer of complexity to these kind of trips...

Ashton, not sure if the whole family is coming or who that all entails, but the hotel has a swimming pool in it and there is a YMCA across the street within walking distance. If your partner drives there is an indoor playground in Belleville (about 15 minutes up the 401) www . partycastle . ca. We had Fiona's birthday party there and it was awesome. The wesbite give directions, prices, etc. Also in Belleville is Quinte Mall (right at the 401) is your partner is the shopaholic type. Hope this helps.
