A few news from the 2012 Quebec GP Team :

We have secured the deal and are officially returning to St-Eustache on September 8-9.
The Quebec Team is working hard to provide you with an improved event this year.

Here is some of the issues we tackled this year :

1- We will have improved safety measures, including additionnal foam pads, to make sure everyone on track has the safest weekend possible;

2- There will be a trackday on Friday Sept. 7th. It's a great opportunity to learn the track or improve your times for the ultimate VRRA event. VRRA members should have special pricing, we are still working on a deal with the track;

3- The Team is working towards improving the number of spectators and is actively looking for event sponsors;

4- We have made sure there would be more porta-potties available in the paddock;

5- Surprises are in the works to make the weekend a memorable experience.

This venue offers the best pavement of all VRRA tracks and has a great variety of corners and speeds. It is situated 25 minutes from downtown Montreal.

Last year, we had an instant success with little preparation. 76 racer showed up and loved their experience. We are looking to improve this number considerably in 2012. The Team is working on making your weekend more enjoyable than ever, so be sure to reserve this September weekend on your 2012 racing calendar !

That's great news! For those of us coming in from out of town, will we be allowed to camp overnight?

This event was brilliant last year...easily as good or better than Shannonville and waaaay better than St.Croix.The post race entertainment was mega,with drags and stock car racing and crazy french loons of all types.Make it a special time by going on the Oka ferry and having Poutine when you arrive.
Vive la Quebec!

mick :D
