We are still waiting for our Mosport date, which will likely depend on the Canadian Superbike weekend. Being one week apart with track days between allows for the cost of straw bales to be shared between all groups. North Bay is waiting for Indycar to decide on it's Toronto date. Last year we were on the same date and were short of marshals.

And don't do the North Bay round the same weekend as the Parry Sound Sport Bike Rally!

Huge loss of spectators for and great round.

my 2 cents

Hi All, On Thursday evening we were assigned August 17th, 18th, 19th 2012 for our Vintage Festival at Mosport. This will be the first weekend of the Mosport bike week, with the Canadian Superbike the following weekend. The Mosport track is undergoing extensive renovations, at the moment.

As you might know, North Bay will not be available this year because of airport construction. We are busy looking at different options for July 2012 and will let everyone know what we can arrange as soon as possible.

After many exchanges with present and future considerations in mind, we have booked and confirmed our July date and venue: Shannonville Long or Pro track on July 14th & 15th to replace our missing North Bay date & venue. We appreciate that this will mean consecutive venues for 2 months in a row, though with a major change in the track but we have tried to take our members concerns into account. We hope this will suit the majority of our racers.
I will ask Peter our Webmaster to post the full 2012 race schedule in the calendar. Thank you for all your input at our AGM and by email.
All the best for your rebuilds during the winter.

Good news Pat and I will adjust our calendar. One question, what are we going to call the July Shannonville round? Quinte TT part Deux? :D

Thanks for the prompt update Pat I'm sure I'm not alone in appreciating the information.

Long Track definitely the preference.

I know it comes down to how many marshals will be available.... but long track prefered for me as well.
