Hi All, I am working on the Quebec GP entry forms & schedule and will have them up shortly. It is important for you to know that there is a 106dB limit at St Eustache: There is housing around the track and they are serious about the noise limit. They might pull bikes off the track if the sound limit is exceeded.

Yes, the sound limits are the same as Shannonville but the difference is that we have not had noisy bikes pulled there (yet). This might change in the future if some continue to ignore the sound limit.
The last time we raced at St Eustace in 2006 there were some obviously noisy bikes fingered for a sound check. It is quite likely that the limit will be enforced by the track this year as they have obviously had to take steps to reduce the sound carried to the surrounding houses, hence the sound berm.
This is just a heads up that open exhausts are unlikely to meet the sound limit and steps should be taken to muffle these bikes. 106dB is not that hard to meet, even for those with early bikes.
