Finaly:

Some pictures of almost finished product; still have to make another seat foam...

Compare original, with final product... not bad, stil a few details to be taken care of, but project, especially when it comes to the mechanics (parts are the worst... ) the project is to my liking!

Fred

PS: Outside pictures to follow soon...

Original 85:

My rendering:
(The white number plate on the side fairing, will be as the original, but I screwed up when making the paint...)

Started again; the weather has gotten cold, so time to be in the shop ;)
RS is almost naked.
I will be dissassembling the motor. I will keep one set of jugs to keep the original HRC pistons (for authenticity), and will make the CR125 Wiseco conversion on the other set of cylinders & heads that I have.

I have also located a zinc plater for all the fasteners ...Just like Ko & Rene ;)

I have received another original footrest (these things are REALLY hard to find these days...)
I have almost everything, its just a question of cleaning & refinishing of all the parts... Everything, this time around, will get the upmost attention to detail...

it looks absolutely beautiful. I know Paul's brother and I'll see if I can get some pics of the bike as it was raced next time I see him. Keep up the good work ! I look forward to seeing the bike in person next season.

That would be great of you could get some period pictures! And even try to get Paul to see the rebuild...

Had some nasty surprizes, when I opened the cases (good thing I did)
Saved by a "unobtanium" crate that came with the bike...
