Some photos from Sunday at Mosport

Postby jimcolvin » Tue Aug 22, 2006 11:41 am

This was my first time at a VRRA event. I couldn't have had a better day. Great bikes, great racing, and the weather behaved as well. Didnt' see any umbrella girls in their bikini tops and short shorts though (oh well, can't have everything :D )

First time trying to shoot motorcycle races with the digital camera, so hopefully some of you can see yourselves in action. Too many vantage points and not enough time to be everywhere. I posted some of my pictures at

http://www.jim.colvin.com/VRRA_Mosport_ ... g%2020.htm

nothing fancy, just thought some guys would like to see.

Thanks for a great day.

None of me  but thanks for putting them up.
Pretty good shots, great first effort. Keep coming back. :D

I'm the guy you (USED) to look over your shoulder at as you pass me down the long straights.

I was specifically told "no shots of Graham, might go to his head"

Anyway, I think I am hooked. Going to North Bay and who knows, the guys I rode with are all vintage guys so they are considering racing instead of just observing. Don't know why I didn't look this organization up earlier.

I'm sure you got some shots of Graham, but they're all just a big blur. They haven't made film quick enough to catch him when he's racing.

P.S.: Note to forum. This post typed with tongue firmly planted in cheek!!
If you're not having fun, why bother!!

Well, if any photographers would have been in turn 5 on Saturday morning then they could have had plenty of practice in "Still Life Photography" as I leaned against the wall watching the rest of you guys go round and round and round.....
Hell, I could have posed for one of these!
