Cold day,cold track,cold slicks make Shannonville ALMOST as slippery as ice . Unassisted crashes while not going fast happen to the best of us.

Looks like a cold tire low side to me, been there done that.

agreed...
two words.....Tire Warmers!
pretty cheap insurance compared to the cost of repairing crash-damage. not that they would prevent this but they sure make it less likely. just my .02.

I had an identical crash late october on my NSR street bike, Cold pavement, Cold tires, no warning.

I offered Yannick 1200$ to buy back the FZR when it rolled back in the pits on the "trailer of shame". He was not amused
At least he got quick and efficient help from a very hot flag marshall
