Race of the Power Bikes

Documentary film originally made for the BBC by award winning filmmaker, Paul Watson, following two motorcycle racers competing at the 1973 Isle of Man TT. One rider is the professional works rider, Peter Williams, and the other is amateur, Graham Bentman.

Superb! I watched that race from the Braddan Church wall. Like most of the people there, we were delighted to see Peter win his first TT on the Norton.

Thanks for the link , a great Norton story. I remember Peter Williams and that JPS Norton showing up at Mosport back in '73 , what a duo they were, just incredibly smooth . He finished second to a really fast up and coming Steve Baker on a TZ700. Ultra fast Williams was unbelievable and had never seen Mosport before that weekend. So was the underpowered Norton , giving up a huge HP advantage to the Yamaha.

A funny side note, Steve and Peter are very similar in appearance.
