It is a beautiful job that you are doing... but... I can't help feeling that instead of building a Spencer Replica you should really be putting it back to Paul MacMillan specs and colours. You do have a piece of history there.

Would anyone have any pictures of the original, because I have not heard or seen anything relating to them...

On a side note: I have two body sets; for sure the race track set will be the same as Freddie Spencers Rothmans Honda, as for the original, I am still open to Ideas... And yes, your idea makes a lot of sense, and I think I will tend to lean that way...

As for the specs: This is as close as to original racing specs, as you can...
Forgotten in a garage since 94... Almost everything original, exept a little jug work, and some Marvics, (but still have the original wheels too...)

Thanks for your reply, I thought that this part of the forum was dead !!!
Some more pictures for your enjoyment

Finally found the original paint scheme for the 1985 RS250RF...
Thanks for the input, as I will now be making it truthfully original...

The Rothmans replica, is a classic, but somewhat overused...

Here is what it should look like...

Beautifull piece of work.A well prepared motorcycle is always a work of art. You're either single or your wife is a saint. If I brought my bike in the house,me and the bike would be sleeping in the garage. Jerry

Fantastic! A Beautiful work in progress, and I love the fact that it is in the house! If anyone complains, make them sleep in the garage!

Indeed a very nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

p.s. Love the hardwood and the "workplace" example we can all leverage from.
