A new grid arrangement was tried on Sunday, which I did not know about - one rig per row alternating left and right. I liked it. It gave us room and took up no more rows than 2 rigs every second row. Comments?

Yes, was better, Sundays grid was actually a little extra special, as Gary
was actually between rows 1 and 2.... But hey when in Quebec 8)

I think that when we are on a wide enough track like Shannonville we should grid 2 per row. Not 1 per row.
If it's a very narrow track like Grand Bend fair enough, but otherwise it spreads the field far too much at the beginning of a race. And, with the close racing we have seen lately, it just might make a difference to some.
Just my thoughts on it.
Not that it matters to my P1 rig much, but for the front 3 or 4 P2's it just might. And , next year hopefully a group of P3's as well. Close racing is always fun to watch and participate in.

Miles.
