Unless I'm mistaken, Matt and Shaun were a very strong second.

Just wanted to send a shout out to the mad Lambretisti and his crew. Thanks for all your effort over the weekend to "get 'er goin' ". It's great to see such endurance!
You may not think you got far but you made the race on Sunday with what sounded like a single gear transmission and got your start money! That's a hell of a lot better that being stuck in front of my pit on Saturday with a seized front brake!!!
Keep on truckin'.
Les.

A big thank you to Len Fitch for the faith he showed in entrusting his rig to Sean and me for this weekend.Had trouble getting my helmet off after the final on Sunday for two reasons-could hardly lift my arms, and my grin was too wide

Great racing guys, and the highlight had to be Hopper "patting" the rig behind him. Had everyone in stitches! Great Show!

I was lucky to earn my driver's privileges on the F1 last weekend at Summit Point as it came in handy this weekend. However as Steve said when he drove my rig at Loudon, vintage and F1 both have 2 people and 3 wheels but are very much different beasts. Ewan and I changed places for the Sunday practice. I believe it was his first time as a passenger on a vintage rig - he looked like he had a workout. It was a bonus to get the lap record on Saturday with Ewan driving. Ewan could not race Sunday afternoon and I asked Colin to passenger. No practice together but we did well for a new team. Thanks Colin - I sympathized watching you make the turn 5-6-7 transitions! Colin said I did not scare him once, either I was not going fast enough or he did not look behind!
Sorry for the early braking on Sunday but the mechanic did not set the brakes to suit me and I thought they were not there!

Had a great time, well except for turn 5, on lap 5. Repairs underway, looking forward to Mosport.
