My previous post was in error. I've come into posession of a Fiddeman Kawasaki Z1 powered sidecar from the 70's, not a Manning chair.
I'm in need of info / specs and photos from the era so the restoration can begin.

Harv and Warren .... one of them worked at the "Cycle Shop" at Yonge and Steeles owned by Don and Bill Hitchins
They rode a Triumph outfit .... I probably have an old 8mm film of them
I remember as a 15 year old they were pretty cool

Rick, what year is the chassis?? I have an 81 (13" wheels) that I'm going to start working on this winter. Peter Esaff's Fiddaman is a 10". I'll trade you some info I've collected, for some photos of yours.

I owned 3 or 4 MGF rigs back then , In fact I know somewhere I have one of his factory manuals.... give me a couple of days to find it ....Send me your e-mail adress and I will scan it and send it to you... I also have alot of photos of my rigs
Do you want to sell the outfit ....I have always thought I should have another go but after my crash at Mosport I was healing slow so switched to cars
Regards
Paul

This rig has 10" wheels, I'm not sure of the year. The engine appears to be a 73 or 74 900. Is there a serial number somewhere?

The serial number should be on the end of the main cross member, right side Rick. The ones I've seen are in two lines - top > MGF RS, and below that a series of numbers. The 1st two are the year. On mine it's 81xxxx.
