Try the Track/Parade laps

The TRY the TRACK for the sidecars will be in a new time slot for CTMP (Mosport), it will follow the Sat race schedule.

I am hoping this makes it easier to take passengers on laps without the time restriction imposed through the lunch break session.

I would like to know who or which teams are interested in participating so as not to over sell and also improve the coordination of participants, this would be rain or shine.

Thanks Jim

Just to clarify Jim, as I understand it: instruction will be at the drivers pit by the current monkey, and full race leathers are still required. This item should be arranged before signing on. One upside of the "after racing" format is that the racers will not be waiting for them back in time for their race. Paul.

Jim,

Since you're asking here for the teams interested, please mark the Lakes available for running in the Saturday parade laps.

Thx. Jan

The Minnett brothers rig will also be available to run. So far we have one passenger and possibly two, ready to take a ride.

Hi gang,

Just a big fan here...if it was possible...how could I possibly get on board for a sidecar lap? I've always wanted to do this.

Cheers,

Mike

By the looks of it then...monkey laps will be Saturday , end of day only...and nothing on Sunday? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers.

You are right, Sat pm only for the sidecar laps.

I will post an update of the rigs available, passengers, who has gear to lend and volunteers

Great effort everyone!

Thanks Jim

Two points Jim; anyone reading the T3 promo currently only one week before the event, will still believe that sidecars are on both Sat and Sun during the lunch break. I assume any posters put up carry the same message.
Also from the tone of this thread it may appear that most available rigs are "full up" with club members, (of course more than welcome) rather than with "spectators" who may show after reading our home page. Paul.

Hi Paul

I will ask for a change to the promo onsite, the printed is less detailed not sure on the exact wording I don't believe there is mention of timing.

Talking with Dean last night, there should be enough time for 3 sessions at 3 laps (approx 3 plus minutes /lap) , currently four rigs, so 12 passengers is the limit. More passengers if the number of sidecars participating increases, assuming no broken cars.

Jim

Thanks Miles,

It looks like there will be more wanting to ride than there are spots.

Need a few more sidecars.
