Don't forget racing in the states

Postby limy_1 » Wed Jun 16, 2010 1:33 pm

While Mid Ohio is no longer an AHRMA event there is still sidecar racing there.
The dates for Mid Ohio are July 9 thru 11.

Then there is the AHRMA event at Beaverun.
The dates for Beaverun are July 23 thru 25.

AND... there is the FIM/NAMU North American Vintage Championships at NHMS on July 24,25. :D Two days of sidecar racing, an endurance race and a full program of solo racing.

Sorry Bob,
I generally don't have the scoop on the racing at Loudon.
Beside the fact that like most my home club gets preferance

I try to get to Loudon at least once each year and have missed the first two chances this year, so here's hoping for the July round. USCRA had 5 sidecars at Mosport last year how many AHRMA rigs were there Roger; I know it was not for lack of trying on your part, but that's the reality on the ground. Paul.

I'm interested in going to NH in July.
What's required of a VRRA member to race the FIM/NAMU event at Loudon?

I get your point Paul but......
AHRMA members at Mosport for sidecars = USCRA members at Mosport
VRRA members at Mosport all of the above plus Ralf & Amy, Ian & Sandra and of course you & Marie

Now in the Ohio region there are 2 rigs that will be racing at Mid-Ohio.
Kevin Sexton with Dale Lavenders old rig.
Dale Lavender with a new rig.

If you race at Mid Ohio or another USCRA event you will have, or have to purchase an AMA membership for insurance reasons, as with RACE up here. This has also been allowed as your FIM affiliation in the past. If you wish to compete on a Canadian ticket you must buy a CMA membership. I realise some racers will have a problem with one or the other options. Maybe Bob Coy or one of the other USCRA people can confirm the above. yours, Paul.
