Both Amy and Mike can not make the TT event, so I'm in need of a brave soul to ride with me. Any takers?

Hello Ralf,
I've never been on a sidecar before but I would be willing to take the sidecar school and do some practice. If that works for you, great I'd love to give it a try, (me and a buddy have been tossing the idea of getting /building a rig) and this would be a great opportunity to get my feet wet.Let me know either way.

Thanks,
Andre

Ralf,
Your first responder has the right to be the first victim.
My potential driver/passenger (he can't decide) for the Quinte is still uncommitted for the event.
I will be at the Quinte with my gear regardless.

Thanks Roger for beeing a stand up guy, however Ralf never responded to me to let me know either way. You are a better choice for Ralf and you should take the opportunity if he asks you. I put my name out there knowing my chances of beeing picked were slim but it was worth a try. Frankly I thought people would be all over this. This sidecar stuff looks like good fun.I will enjoy the race from the grand stands.

PS. Roger, are you looking for a passenger/victim?
I think the rule book states that you are not allowed on or near your competitors sidecar...

In both the vintage and modern ranks found in North America I have ridden with probably a quarter of them.
Just call me a sidecar junkie monkee.
There are plenty of passengers that are better than me or at least better with certain drivers.
It is a close knit group and we will try to help each other out.
If you don't get the ride or a ride with someone else for the Quinte try to get out sometime when they are giving rides.
That is how I got suckered in, hook, line, sinker, rod, reel & half their arm.

Hello Andre, you are welcome to sit in on the sidecar portion of the VRRA school at SMP. I feel sure we can find driver to give you some track time. this would at least be a start and give you a sense of the sport. Paul.
