Was looking for a Ride

Postby limy_1 » Wed Dec 31, 2008 3:49 pm

Well since at midnight is the start of a new year and I will not be near a computer for a couple of days.....
Here is my pitch for a 2009 ride.

Wanted:
Sidecar racer with rig who needs a passenger.
I have and am willing to race vintage left or right and modern F1 or F2.
If I have to make the choice it would be vintage.
I am game to race with the VRRA in the Quinte TT and at Mosport.
I plan to be at all AHRMA races except for Roebling, Daytona sidecars are not allowed

Contact me here or by e-mail limy_1 (at) yahoo (dot) com put sidecar in as subject.

Anybody?

Bill Douglas and I took fourth in VRRA and AHRMA during the 2008 season.

Hi Roger seems most teams are now husband and wife/daughter, asking a lot for the old man to dump his missus. However I am sure you are well up the list of prospects. Paul.

Thanks Paul for your vote.
I understand that if you have a rig you generally have a team.

I am have committed my time for the Quinte and Mosport, now I just need a ride.

Roger
You may want to try a short skirt or some daisey dukes to displace one of these wife/daughter monkeys.
All's fair in love and war my friend!

Bill: You obviously haven't seen Roger's legs! I don't think he could even come close if he used a couple of gallons of Nair!
Mikey

Mikey,
while I'm a leg man I must admit to never seeing Roger's legs- even after 4 race weekends spent together!

I wonder if they make a black tu tu?
That would match my leathers at least.

Were you hiding in the restrooms again Mikey?

Well I am out of commition for a while.

I shattered a finger racing on a F1 at Willow Springs this past weekend.
I still plan on showing up to the Quinte.

Sorry to hear that Roger.
Saw the video of the crash and glad all are on the mend.
Paul
All my bikes are vintage.
But not when I bought them?

I can always count on a good word from you Paul.

I guess I can now claim to belong to the sidecar racers club.

Hi Roger, at 14kbs I don't bother trying to load video's or pictures since they usually get tossed after waiting a half hr or so. Be sure we all wish you well and will see you and share a beer at the Quinte. Paul.
