Am I the only rider who is unhappy about the elimination of the second round of practice on Saturday?

Agree with you Stan !

I am sure it was done to squeeze in the race lost at Calabogie.
I would be interested to know our seasonal stats on people whose don't practice on Friday.

I almost never used to do Friday practice until kind people started letting me ride their bikes and that second round of Saturday practice was critical

I absolutely appreciate your concerns. This was a decision made by Tim, the competition coordinator, and Race Control at CTMP. A super simplified explanation is that it wasn't came down to math, average lap times, with the added "spacial races" at CTMP (The Master and Warwick Cup, as well as one of five make up races from Calabogie), planning for the worst case scenario. Thankfully we had a pretty good day on Saturday, however we did have battery fire that did ultimately result in us going over time at the end of the day. I'll ask Tim to address membership with a detailed explanation as well.
