Hi Brian!
No rush on this, but when you have time could you please add the P2 Featherweight class to the lap records? And maybe the other new classes (2 Stroke Open GP, for example), if possible? I know these are new classes but with their consistent entries I hope they stick around!
Thanks!
H

Hi Holly.
Typically we have never listed laptimes for Trial or Invitational classes, for example there is nothing for other trials like P4-Early or Super-Mono.
I guess the 2 year trial for Featherweight is up at the end of this season so I expect it would be voted on at the AGM. I personally don't see why it wouldn't be adopted as a class as it pulls in a few more entries at every race and it can be easily slotted into the schedule without any headaches - that's just my opinion though.
We would go forward an add it as I'll have to rewrite all the software anyway when MyLaps puts all the data behind a paywall and start charging people a subscription to access it. This is the problem when a good company like AMB is bought by Private Equity and the folks running it are a bunch of 20 year olds with an MBA and an Excel Spreadsheet. Hopefully Timothy will figure out a replacement.

Hey Brian!
Thanks very much for your explanation. That makes sense, and I am in agreement with you on the future of the featherweight class. I sure hope it sticks around, as well as the other invitational classes!
Sounds like a bit of a mess with MyLaps... I hope there is a solution, and hopefully one that doesn't cost the club much, if anything.
Thanks for all you do!
